Churchtown Football club was formed in 1997, a year later they were accepted into Division 4 of the Fermanagh and Western were they won promotion in there first season. A Reserve team was entered for the 2003/2004 season and a Third team was entered for the 2006/2007 season to provide proggression to the senior teams. Churchtown Football Club promote Youth & Senior football in the Castlederg area.
