Beragh Swifts was formed in 1990 and entered the F&W in the 3rd division which they won at their first attempt. They then spent 2 seasons in the 2nd division before gaining promotion to the top flight. After 6 years in the top flight Beragh where relegated for a number of years before regaining top flight status in the 2003/04. Currently Beragh are under taking a £200,000 project to relay the pitch and rebuild the club house at Fountain Street, Beragh.
